How to Make an Alcohol Free Watermelon Mint Julep

Ingredients
- 2 cups cubed watermelon (seedless)
- 6-8 fresh mint leaves
- 1 tablespoon sugar or simple syrup
- 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
- Crushed ice
- Mint sprigs and watermelon slices (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a blender, puree the cubed watermelon until smooth.
- Take a serving glass and fill it halfway with crushed ice.
- In a separate glass or mixing glass, muddle the mint leaves and sugar (or simple syrup) together until the mint leaves release their aroma.
- Add the fresh lime juice to the glass and stir to combine.
- Strain the mint and lime mixture into the serving glass filled with crushed ice, discarding the solid mint leaves.
- Pour the watermelon puree into the serving glass, over the mint and lime mixture.
- Stir gently to mix the ingredients and chill the drink.
- Garnish with mint sprigs and watermelon slices.
