Ingredients
- 2 oz non-alcoholic whiskey substitute (such as Lyre’s American Malt)
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice
- 3/4 oz honey-ginger syrup (made by combining equal parts honey and water, and adding grated ginger to taste)
- 1/4 oz Islay Scotch substitute (such as Seedlip Spice 94)
Instructions
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Add the non-alcoholic whiskey substitute, fresh lemon juice, and honey-ginger syrup.
- Shake well to combine.
- Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice.
- Gently float the Islay Scotch substitute on top of the drink.
- Garnish with a slice of lemon and a piece of candied ginger, if desired.
