How to Make an Alcohol Free Orange Ginger Mint Soda

Ingredients
- Freshly squeezed orange juice
- Fresh ginger root
- Fresh mint leaves
- Carbonated water or soda water
- Sugar or honey (optional)
Instructions
- Grate or finely chop a piece of ginger root, about the size of a thumb, and add it to a small saucepan. Add a cup of water to the pan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes to make a ginger syrup. Strain the ginger syrup and let it cool.
- Juice some oranges to make about 1/2 to 1 cup of fresh orange juice. You can adjust the amount of orange juice based on your preference.
- In a glass, add a handful of fresh mint leaves and muddle them with a muddler or the back of a spoon to release their flavor.
- Add 1-2 tablespoons of the ginger syrup to the glass and mix well with the mint leaves.
- Add the freshly squeezed orange juice to the glass and stir well.
- Fill the glass with carbonated water or soda water and stir gently.
