Ingredients
- 2 ripe pears
- 1-inch piece of fresh ginger
- 1/2 lemon (juiced)
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 2 cups sparkling water or ginger ale
- Ice cubes
- Pear slices and ginger slices (for garnish)
Instructions
- Peel and core the pears, then chop them into small pieces.
- Grate or finely chop the fresh ginger.
- In a blender, combine the chopped pears, grated ginger, lemon juice, and honey or maple syrup.
- Blend the mixture until smooth and well combined.
- Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any pulp or fibers.
- In a large pitcher, combine the strained pear and ginger mixture with sparkling water or ginger ale.
- Stir gently to mix the ingredients together.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes.
