Ingredients
- 1/2 cucumber
- 4-6 fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 lime (juiced)
- 1 tablespoon simple syrup or agave syrup
- Soda water or tonic water
- Ice cubes
- Cucumber slices and basil leaves (for garnish)
Instructions
- Peel and chop the cucumber into small pieces.
- In a blender or food processor, combine the chopped cucumber, basil leaves, lime juice, and simple syrup/agave syrup.
- Blend the mixture until smooth and well combined.
- Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any solids or pulp.
- Fill a glass with ice cubes.
- Pour the strained cucumber and basil mixture over the ice, filling the glass about halfway.
- Top off the glass with soda water or tonic water.
